Ski resorts reopen in December 2024
At the moment, the ski resorts in the Salzkammergut are in summer hibernation. But even this time comes to an end at some point. Then it's back on the slopes. If the snow permits, the Dachstein West ski area in Gosau will open its doors just in time for the Advent season on Saturday, 6th December 2024. At the same time, the popular Gosau Mountain Christmas is also open. In Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt, the Christ Child will open the new winter season shortly before Christmas Eve on 21th December 2024 in the FreeSports Arena on the 2000m high Krippenstein. The opening hours are set, now all that remains is for the snow to fall in time. The editorial team wishes you a nice and relaxed winter season 2024/25.
