• Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. If a guest cancels within the 14-day period prior to the scheduled arrival, they will be charged the total price of the reservation. If a guest does not show up for their reservation, they will also be charged the total price.
• Guests will be charged the total price of the reservation in advance during the 14 days prior to arrival.
Reservations between December 20, 20xx, and January 6, 20xx
• Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 60 days prior to their scheduled arrival date. If a guest cancels within the 60-day period prior to the planned arrival date, they will be charged the total price of the reservation. If a guest does not show up for their reservation, they will also be charged the total price.
• Guests will be charged an advance payment of the total price of the reservation 60 days prior to arrival.

The Hallstatt-Dachstein alpine landscape, part of the Salzkammergut, and thus of the Eastern Alps, is one of visual drama with huge mountains rising abruptly form narrow valleys. Its prosperity since mediaeval times has been based on salt mining, focused on the town of Hallstatt, a name meaning salt settlement that testifies to its primary function.
