This cross country ski trail is perfect for amateur cross country skiers. Lots of sunshine, and no difficult sections or slopes!
The Reitern Trail is also known as the "Trüfö" trail in Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt, and raises the heart beat of any amateur cross country skier. This sunny, easy trail passes through four neighbourhoods in Bad Goisern on Lake Hallstatt.The trail is mostly flat, without any particularly steep or difficult sections. There are also stunning views of the mountains of the Inner Salzkammergut. The trail is prepared for parallel and skating style.
Recommendation: The catholic parish church in St Agatha is well worth a visit. The cross country trail passes the church directly. Car parking and access to the trail is available in the Edt neighbourhood (access opposite Autohaus Aigner). During the winter months, snow is cleared to create parking spaces for cross country skiers.
