Easter in Sight! Spring Awakening in the Salzkammergut
Easter in Sight! Spring Awakening in the Salzkammergut -
Unforgettable Sights & Varied Events
The cold season is coming to an end and with it the ski season. But you don't have to be sad about it, at least not in the Salzkammergut. After all, with spring skiing, passionate winter sports enthusiasts still have an absolute highlight to look forward to. The ski resorts Dachstein West in Gosau and the Freesports Arena Krippenstein make sure of that; here you can enjoy the white splendour until Easter Monday.
But there's also plenty to do off the slopes in the UNESCO World Heritage region of Hallstatt Dachstein Salzkammergut and in Bad Ischl, the future European Capital of Culture 2024, especially around Easter: numerous exciting attractions and events await guests - with or without Easter eggs. A visit to the salt mine, a great classical music concert or an unforgettable ski tour on the Dachstein.
Dolce Vita by the lake
For all those who enjoy art, culture and culinary delights, a trip to the future European Capital of Culture 2024: Bad Ischl is highly recommended. How about a leisurely stroll through the historic centre, including a detour to the cult café Zauner. Those looking for culinary rather than cultural highlights will also find what they are looking for at Steegwirt in Bad Goisern or Koppenrast in Obertraun. And the great thing is: all these experiences can also be easily experienced by public bus. So for once you can leave the car behind!
A Warm Welcome
Whether organiser or host - everyone is looking forward to your visit. The Salzkammergut is the ideal place for a day out or a few nights of relaxation. We look forward to your visit and have put together a few great offers for you below. We hope you enjoy browsing.
