Note to travellers
Due to the reassessment of the hazard situation by ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG, extensive rock clearance and blasting work is still necessary. Therefore, the route closure between Obertraun-Dachsteinhöhlen and Stainach-Irdning will probably be extended until 22.5.2024! In addition, the route in the Obertraun – Steeg-Gosau section will also have to be closed until 15.5.2024. A rail replacement service has been set up. The ferry service between Hallstt and Hallstatt station will be suspended during this period
