You have just checked out of the accommodation and would like to pay a visit to the oldest salt mine in the world? Or you are just passing through and would like to while away the time in Hallstatt? Where to do with the luggage? Drag it along? Impractical and unwieldy. For this reason, there are two luggage storage points in Hallstatt.

Here visitors have access to around 20 lockers. Walking time from the bus terminal about 3 minutes.
Tourism info (centre)
The second luggage storage facility is located directly in the historic centre of Hallstatt. A five-minute walk from the ferry or bus terminal. The opening hours of this luggage storage point at the Hallstatt Tourist Office are based on the regular opening hours. The pick-up time for luggage is 30 minutes before the tourist office closes. If you have any questions, you are also welcome to ask them to the staff on site. Where are there other
luggage storage points in the Salzkammergut?
Please note that there are no luggage storage facilities in the towns of "Gosau", "Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee" and "Obertraun am Hallstättersee". Neither at the train stations, nor directly in the village. Good to know: The nearest luggage storage point is in the town of "Bad Ischl". Directly in the station building.
