The Pension Bergfried is located at the foot of the Salzberg and only a few minutes' walk from Lake Hallstatt and the historic town centre.
The Hallstatt salt mine and the salt mine are also in the immediate vicinity and can be easily reached from our guesthouse. The Echern Valley also begins practically on our doorstep and offers numerous opportunities for walks and hikes in the midst of the impressive mountain landscape.
