Sun Trail in Gosau
This trail is not difficult
The Sun Trail (Sonnenloipe) starts also at the sport center Gosau. It goes on the left side of the river "Gosaubach" to the "Mittertal". You pass the hotel Gosauerhof and the farmers market, which is just open on friday. Befor you reach the hotel Sommerhof, you pass the Gosausee Landstraße. On the other side of the valley, the sunny side, you go back again. You will pass the inn Kirchenwirt and the inn Brandwirt befor you reach the starting point, the sports center.
For all those who don't want to spend a long time looking for a parking space and want to enjoy the full cross-country skiing fun in the large valley: All people in the Gosau Valley are networked with each other. As an entry or exit to the Gosau cross-country ski trail network, we therefore recommend the centrally located "Sportplatz car park" (Parkplatz Sportplatz Gosau), which is located directly near the main road in Gosau's "Mittertal" district.
