Use your hiking day: Special weekend rides!
Special cable car ride to later hour in autumn! Always on Sat and Sun! On the weekends of 23 September to 29 October 2017 hikers can enjoy the day at the Dachstein Salzkammergut even longer! Your 9-hour-day at the Dachstein-Krippenstein! You can enjoy the autumn of walk now longer because late returners can go back to the cable car valley station at 6 p.m. Last valley descent: 23 September until 29 October 2017, Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday: cable car section III: Gjaidalm 17:46 hrs. Cable car section II: Krippenstein (top) 18:00 hrs. Sable car section I: Schönbergalm 18:10 hrs. Note: Special valley descent will only take place on Saturday and Sunday and the Austrian bank holiday, 26th October 2017.
Sarstein Crossing in Bad Goisern
The complete Sarsteinüberquerung (Sarstein Crossing) is an extended but rewarding whole day's tour. 9 or 10 hours. Mountain fans have the loveliest panoramic view here in the alpine world.

Koppental Hiking Trail in Obertraun
The 10km long trail leads from Obertraun to Bad Aussee through the romantic Koppen valley. Total walking time is around 3 hours. You will need sturdy walking shoes. There is an opportunity to stop off for refreshments in the Koppental valley.

Fantastic views of the Salzkammergut region! 1/2 hour to the summit Easy trail alt. 2,109 metres on the top of Mount Krippenstein in Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt.
